  • Why Plastic Sealant?

Plastic Sealant is an easy-to-use protective coating for plastic or rubber trim. But why do I need that protection?

Shield Plastic and Rubber Trim From Fading and Cracking

You’ve just driven your car off the lot and your exterior trim and weatherstrips are a solid, beautiful black. But then, after months of parking in the sun, you find they’ve dulled a few shades and have started cracking. This not only looks awful, it also ruins the watertight seal your weatherstrips give your windows. From there, there’s not a whole lot you can do besides getting everything replaced! Save yourself the money and do the smart thing – get your exterior trim protected with Dr. Beasley’s Plastic Sealant the second you take your car home. It protects your plastic and rubber with UV inhibitors that prevent the sun’s rays from degrading their material, keeping them dark and moisturized so they can last as long as possible.

    Restore Color, Moisture and Nutrients

If you didn’t have the foresight to protect your plastic and rubber from the get-go, worry not – Plastic Sealant can still help. That’s because it moisturizes and nourishes UV-damaged plastic and rubber, darkening their surfaces. So if your trim’s started to fade, Plastic Sealant will help you get back to the black you’re sorely missing. That moisturizing nourishment will also help strengthen your plastic and rubber too, stopping the premature aging and cracking UV rays are known to cause. If you’re worried your trim is nearing serious damage, don’t wait another second – get Plastic Sealant today.

    Repel Liquids For Easy Cleaning

Plastic and rubber trim are like magnets for mud, hard water spots, bird droppings and countless other contaminants. And the longer these contaminants rest on your surface, the closer they get to staining and even etching. Problem is, these contaminants are a pain to remove, often requiring a heavy cleaning that will inevitably result in wash marks. With Plastic Sealant, however, your trim will become hydrophobic, meaning liquid contaminants will slide right off in a rinse without getting the chance to stain or etch the surface. You won’t just be protecting your plastic – you’ll be making your life easier.

    How Does It Work?

When applied to a clean, dry exterior plastic or rubber surface, Plastic Sealant penetrates to nourish and moisturize. After a few moments, it forms a UV-inhibiting hydrophobic barrier that stops the sun’s rays from reacting with the surface while lowering surface energy to repel liquids.

  • Application Instructions

    1. Clean and dry surface.
    2. Shake well.
    3. Pour Plastic Sealant onto an applicator or fine brush and spread evenly over exterior plastic surfaces.
    4. Let sit for a moment, then wipe off any excess with a clean, dry microfiber towel.

    Additional Tips

For maximum results, use Plastic Conditioner, followed by Exterior pH Neutralizer before applying Plastic Sealant.
Before applying, test a small amount in an inconspicuous place to check compatibility with surface.
